Apple ∞ Google, QnA, Content Ads, MC & VF, SMS Out, GAnalytics, ICRs, NOY!DIR, Yahoo Brains, Wayback Machine
Today was a busy but kind of mellow day in search. Let's start with Google topics... Google's CEO joined the Apple Board of Directors, I am very into that. I took a look at some Invalid Click Rates provided by folks at WebmasterWorld and Google. Also, did you know that if someone took your UA from Google Analytics, you can have screwy traffic stats? Also, Google can be taking $285 million from AdWords advertisers. Finally, on the Google front, make sure to catch Matt Cutts and Vanessa Fox on WebmasterRadio.FM tomorrow night.
Windows Live QnA is in public beta now, watch out Yahoo! Answers. I pleaded with Yahoo! to add support for a no Yahoo! Directory tag. The 2nd edition of the Search Marketing Standard finally arrived at my door step. Yahoo! has been hiring up all the brains, ahem, I'm still here, wink wink. Oh, and the suit against the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine has finally been settled.
That is all, off to an other meeting now.
