GYM Update, Windows Live Video, CC Bug ∅ AdWords, # Links?, Aggregation Spam, Google $, New G Blog, & More
Big blogging day, I wrote over 16 blog entries in all today. Five new blog posts today at this blog, six at the Search Engine Roundtable, and five at Search Engine Watch. So what search news did I cover today?
On the search index update front, all three engines showed some signs of an index update - that includes Google, Yahoo! and MSN. Windows Live Video is found and then put through the tests. A credit card processing bug takes down AdWords advertiser ads. Tim Converse, Yahoo! spam fighter, writes about "aggregation spam." Google pleas with the Securities and Exchange Commission to not classify them as an investment fund company. Google launched the Webmaster Central blog officially today. I looked at link popularity of a specific portion of a page, based on anchor links. And Google seems to be sending out warnings of AdWords keyword maximization limits.
Everyone, have a wonderful weekend!
