The Doctor I go to is just one flight up from me in my office building. Convenience is great....
I scheduled a yearly physical the other day and they said I should run upstairs this morning to take a blood test prior to my visit next week. So I did.
It was the first time it took someone more than a minute to find a vein on me. I saw a few, but she didn't like those options, I guess.
In any event, she found a vein, popped a needle in it and missed. She did it again and got it.
So the blood is off to the lab and I await my doctor appointment next week for the full exam.

You have my sympathy...I have regular bloodwork done, since they discovered my thyroid doesn't work. It's always been an ordeal. My veins are very deep in my arms, and have even "collapsed" when I'm stressed (because it usually hurts, and I know they struggle to find one that will work.) Sometimes they resort to the back of my hand to get what they need. I hate it. Just wanted to lend moral support, from one who knows this experience well :)

Ouch! Honestly, the test doesnt bother me. Prick me with things, go ahead, you'll see, I won't flinch.
But I do feel for you.

I've just been letting everything wash over me. I just don't have much to say right now, but what can I say? I can't be bothered with anything these days. Such is life. I haven't been up to much lately.
