I am not a huge fan of wearing accessories, i.e. rings, watches, hair styles, designer cloths, sweat bands, etc. But one accessory I would wear is this high tech Anniversary Ring. Judah at Diamond Vues reports via Gizmodo that this ring heats up to 120 degrees fahrenheit for "10 seconds, every hour, on the hour, beginning 24 hours before" your anniversary date.

Not only is it stylish, but it is also extremely functional - making it a geek's dream ring.

Hey Barry!
Thanks for the plug.
I thought this ring was pretty cool myself.
Wonder what would happen with a "ring malfunction" though...

Can you blame the ring in that case?
I doubt it.

I think it should go thru your nose.....

I think 120 degrees for 10 seconds every hour is a bit too much. I'd take the ring off and could you imagine the heat when my wife discovered I wasn't wearing my ring on my anniversary? I see a product liability lawsuit waiting to happen. "Heated Ring Results in Divorce"

Wonder if you can cook a special romantic anniversary dinner throughout the day using the heat from the ring?

erm...it IS real jb..... do a search, they're in excess of $700, but they exist, they are real, the atoms are tightly packed making it solid, it exists in a physical state etc etc
