Google Code Search & Groups, Pinging, TrustRank, adCenter Match Types, Teoma Who?, Search Comp
On October 5th, Google released Code Search. Google also released a new Google Groups beta. They enabled the pinging of their blog search engine. I looked at Google's TrustRank. I wrote about weirdness with adCenter's match type handling. USA Today had a write up on Ask.com's Teoma. Business Week wrote about the competitive landscape in search. Finally, I looked at Google's personalized home page triggers.
