On October 4th I covered a number of topics including the enhancements made to Google Gadgets. I discussed why Google may decide to hide the true PageRank values from us. Google released a white label search engine names SearchMash. Google also is hosting The Literacy Project. Washington Post has an interesting look at the "I'm Feeling Lucky Button." Schmidt warns politicians of the future of elections. I pleaded with Yahoo! to add support, again, for a tag to not show the directory title in the search results. The fifth edition of the Search Pulse is archived, we had Matt Cutts and Ask.com on as guests. Finally, I looked at a tool for checking other Google results at the various data centers.
