Yahoo NOODP, Tim Mayer, Algo Leak, MySpace vs. YouTube, Google Status, YPN India, Yahoo Slums, Evil Green Monkey
On October 11th, I posted the archive for the Search Pulse, which contained a promise from Yahoo!'s Tim Mayer that Yahoo! will support the NOODP tag, but there is more. I looked at why the Google algorithm has not been fully leaked yet, or has it? MySpace got in a cat fight with YouTube over Google. Yahoo! Search update hit us last night, yea, no one else noticed. We got a Google status update from Matt Cutts. There are rumors of YPN hitting India. Yahoo! did not get the best press today, stock fell to new 52-week low. Ben Edelman posted on deceptive and false ads. Finally, Robert Kerry joined us at the Search Engine Roundtable as Evil Green Monkey.
