This is funny, DaveN (David Naylor) described how to write a sneaky redirect and soon after, Matt Cutts of Google spanked him for it.
Matt said:
Sneaky JS redirects are definitely outside search engines' guidelines. DaveN, don’t just send people off to play in traffic and tell them to have fun; at least warn people of the risk that their site(s) will be removed or otherwise penalized.
Dave and Matt are buddies. But can this lead to a long and disturbing grudge between friends?
I doubt it. I think they are just messing with each other...

Dave knows I'm just reminding folks that sneaky JS redirects a very high-risk activity, the kind that gets sites removed for months.
