I was reading the new MacWorld last night and saw a geek product, that I absolutely must have. It is an LED scrolling license plate frame. I can pop that on my car and drive in seriously style.
The one Macworld wrote about is at the Sharper Image for now only $29, but it is not available for sale at this time (I was literally about to buy it).
Amazon as a similar product but for a whopping $180. Streettags.com sells it for $80.
I guess I am just obsessed with geek gear. I still did not get the T-Qualizer Shirt, maybe because the "Wife" won't let me.
But I am on a mission to get this license plate.

This is going to be an impossible mission to accomplish :)

Barry,
My suggestion is that you puppy down for just a sec. so that you don't spend the next few months sleeping on the couch....
Also, if you are planning on driving anywhere in the tri-state area with those plates..think hard before you buy.
Their either gonna break as a result of some shlub literally creating a parking spot for himself around your car...or they might get stolen.....
Please take a chill.
There are certainly more practical "geek" stuff out there for your consideration. No?
Methinks you're due for some diamond jewelry ;)

$30, I think Ill buy them anyway.
If they go on the car or not, that is a different story.

I agree! It is time for some diamond jewelry!
Now that is money well spent :)

You just need to get some PimpStar LED rims to match.

Did you ever get this? I just got one and you have to aim the remote at the plate to control it! It's basically useless. False advertising.
