Jeremy Zawodny from Yahoo! wrote a guest post at the YPN blog named Zen and the Art of Blogging. The post is good and all, but I do not need to be notified of the same post 4 times in 2 days.
Yes, it goes back to how I pleaded with the blog world to Stop Updating Your Posts Please! because when you do, the default option in Bloglines is to show the post as new. But it is not new!
I am not picking on Yahoo! here, I even blasted Search Engine Watch as my most hated RSS feed. So hated, I unsubscribed from it.
Of course there is an option to tell Bloglines not to show updates for certain feeds, but I only do that for a select few blogs.
So, Yahoo!, please only update posts when you have to. And when you do, please note what was updated.

You do know that you can tell Bloglines to ignore changes? Edit the subscription and choose Ignore for Updated Items. You have to do this for each subscription but it is worth it.

There was a time when I almost hate for doing exactly that.. The posts of your blog would appear all as new in the bloglines. It was during a week or two, enought to make me unsubscribe. I now resubscribed your blog feed when I came back to the Google Reader.

Mike, yes, I noted that above. "Of course there is an option to tell Bloglines not to show updates for certain feeds, but I only do that for a select few blogs."
Sergio, you unsubscribed to my feed?!

But I'm here again... And it was under mitigating circumstances.
Will you ever forgive me?
