gAudio, Fires, Holidays, Updates, Refinements, Cold Calls, Baidu, Google China, Patriots, Semel & More
First day back from the conference in Chicago, a bit tired, normally takes a weekend or so to get back into the groove of things - by the way. Anyway, today was a fairly average day.
I found a thread that reported adCenter's data center burned down, but they denied it. Google is possibly doing a index and ranking update before the holidays. Also they are auto dialing potential AdWords advertisers to get their holiday business. Google is using refinements in the wrong places. Google is losing their China President. Baidu launched a Chinese blog search engine. Brady from the Patriots is suing Yahoo! Semel hates bloggers and says, no downsizing. Google has finally done it, they are testing audio ads in AdWords. That is December 8th for you.
