I depend on RSS, I honestly cannot live without it these days. Yes, I know, I have said this before, but RSS has changed my life. Without a stable RSS reader, I am in bad shape.
Since about 10am (EST), Bloglines, my preferred RSS reader, has not updated. Heck, there is a long support thread at Blogline's forums with numbers of complaints.
Bottom-line, a couple hours of downtime I can deal with. But 5 or so hours of downtime in the middle of the day! Well, that is an excuse to switch to Google Reader.
Heck, I should just switch already, since everyone else is.
Or should I give them another shot? Free is free... Google has had their issues with up time. In fact, Ask.com, owners of Bloglines, mocked Google over their downtime. Maybe, it is time for payback from the Google Reader blog?
Please Bloglines, hope your not off for presidents day.
I feel so in the dark!

Try it again. Just think of how you won't see the same items showing up as unread over and over again because someone changed a comma. Switch, switch, switch... ;)

I feel your pain, Barry. I just complained to Susan that either Bloglines was broken or no one had written anything since about 9:30am this morning. She then directed me to your post. :)
I'm Bloglines loyal and I don't want to make the switch over to GR, but I can't be banned from the conversation on a Monday afternoon.

Matt, I switched because I had to. But I still may go back to bloglines.
Google Reader at times eats up 80% of my CPU.
