Google Reader & Bloglines TestI just got word from Google Reader Engineer, Mihai Parparita, that they have made speed improvements to Google Reader on Apple's Safari.

Mihai said:

We've made some improvements with regards to memory leaks (affecting all browsers, including Safari). Now if you switch between one subscription or folder and another, memory should be properly reclaimed.

So I gave it a quick test with my morning feeds and it worked! Google Reader is now fast in Safari!

That was the main I stuck with bloglines after my first test.

Now that the speed improvements are here, I will be giving it another run. I will give it about a week and let you know what I decide. But it is looking good for Google Reader.
