Study Shows Internet Users Do Exercise
Internet could help encourage exercise from Reuters reports that Internet users actually do exercise during the week!
Researchers found that Internet-based exercise programs worked as well as printed advice in getting sedentary adults to take up regular physical activity. One year into the study, the Internet users were getting 80 to 90 minutes of exercise each week.
Ground breaking!
The study was of "249 sedentary adults who were randomly assigned to one of three groups."
Let's see, I am a heavy Internet user and I play basketball on average 200 to 300 minutes per week. Sometimes I walk, but not often. Sunday, I played a bit of Tennis.
