Everyone is excited about Google buying Zenter, as part of their collection of purchases to offer online presentation software, similar to WebEx. Here are two articles on it from yesterday:
- Google Acquires Zenter, Online Slides Presentation Company from Search Engine Roundtable
- Google Acquires Zenter, Online Presentation Software Company from Search Engine Land
But, did you guys know about a free online meeting application from ZOHO known as Zoho Meeting?
I tried it out myself and it has a great UI to manage online meetings. The only thing I don't like is that if you are the presenter, you need a PC, because it uses ActiveX commands to run. But it is still free and I have a PC on my Mac with Parallels so I gave it a try. It works pretty well and is easy to use.
Who told me about this software? Gary Price, of course, he informed me about it several months ago, when I was looking for an easy solution for a problem I had.
