Ariz. hospital sends patient a $49M bill from Seattle PI reports that a hospital sent out the wrong bill to 587 patients who were treated at Northern Cochise Community Hospital in Willcox.
One patient received a bill for $49 million, while many received bills for over $100,000.
"The highest statement is $49 million," Aguirre said. "I can't wait to hear from that person."
How did this happen? They installed new computer software to manage their billing, which caused a glitch with the invoicing.
This should all be resolved within 10 business day.

Comments
They probably WON'T hear from that person. Because they keeled over when they opened the bill.
