Tons of rumors all over the web that PlayStation would be dropping the price of the game system.
Well, now it is confirmed.
We confirmed today that we are lowering the price of our current 60GB PS3 by $100, to $499, effective immediately in North America.
And in a few weeks, a new PS3 is coming out priced at $599 that has a larger hard drive. The hard drive is 80GB and the PS3 comes with MotorStorm.
Yea, I got a PlayStation 3 a while back. I honestly do not use it as much as I should. I think it has been a few weeks since I last played. Just lots going on right now, I guess.

What exactly is the industry standard on how much one SHOULD play on PS3?

Well, figure I spent about $1,000 on all - console, controllers, games, etc...
There must be a way to figure out how much one should use it in order to get some ROI out of it?
