Elton John's war on the web from The Age reports that Elton John wants the Internet to vanish.
He is clearly not making enough from sales of his latest albums so he said, "Hopefully the next movement in music will tear down the internet."
"I do think it would be an incredible experiment to shut down the whole internet for five years and see what sort of art is produced over that span," he said.
The funny thing is that in March this year Elton John had a deal with Apple to make his entire music catalogue of 400 tracks available through iTunes music store.
Let's kill the Internet, because of people who steal music. Errr...

WHO CARES about elton John
and all he wants is money so unless it faovrs him it doesnt matter
and shut the internet for 5 years noone would know what to do with themselves
its like taking away cell phones

As an ex-artist/creative type turned overworked corportate type by "the net", I see where he's coming from, but TEAR DOWN THE NET? Psh.
