Last night I saw the premier of Kid Nation, a new show on CBS. It is basically about 40 kids who are put in some old ghost town from the old western days and set off to fend for themselves. No adults, no real assistance, just 8 to 15 year olds making a go at living on their own for 40 days.

This is very intriguing to me. So I decided to DVR it and watch it a bit later. Glad I did. Although some kids I find annoying, it is very interesting to see how they interact with each other. Some really surprised me, while others did not.

Now, I checked Google Hot Trends, and yesterday, Kid Nation was number 10 on the hot list. Check out the chart over here. Heck, there is even a Wikipedia entry on how the structure classes work.
