I am so into search, so into search, but when it comes to local things, I am trying to avoid search for answer.
Here are some examples. When choosing a company to cut down a tree in my new backyard, I didn't want to search for "tree services" or something like that. I wanted to ask people in the local area, if they used anyone. So I asked around and got some leads and then got quotes. My mind is now made up on what I should do for that.
Right now, I am in the process of looking for cleaning companies that specialize in new construction. So a search on new construction cleaning brings up tons of organic results and tons of paid results. But who can I trust will do a good job? Oh, I should check out Google Local or Yahoo Local, or maybe Yelp to see reviews. But I did, and none have any real reviews...
Live in my area? Want to recommend a company that specializes in new construction cleaning?
Those are two of many many examples.

I am in the process of bidding for new construction, anyone out there have any pointers on bidding? I am biddig on one level homes 2700 square feet. I got the opportunity because the original company bid to high. What's a good starting figure based on the square footage. I reside in SC state. Thanks.

Hi. I have done so well in new construction that I just focused on it almost exclusivly. Last summer I got contracts to do the Verizon call center here, along with 3 belks stores, pretty easily. I would like to know if anyone might be interested in forming an impromptu group to help each other with strategic advice and encouragment. Their are not to many people doing this, and we could all really help each other without worrying about competition. If you are interested I would love to talk.
Thanks
Dawn
