Man in China dies after three-day Internet session from Reuters reports a Chinese man died after using the internet for three-days.
A Chinese man dropped dead after playing Internet games for three consecutive days, state media said on Monday as China seeks to wean Internet addicts offline.

The man from the southern boomtown of Guangzhou, aged about 30, died on Saturday after being rushed to the hospital from the Internet cafe, local authorities were quoted by the Beijing News as saying.
Huh! You kidding?
What happened exactly? They think he died from exhaustion brought on by too many hours on the Internet.

Okay so he stayed up for three days, right? Well, he was probably drinking some sort of energy drink. It's a medical fact that it takes 72 hours. If all you are doing is drinking energy drink after energy drink you will probably die because it causes such a massive shock on your system. I forget the medical term for it. The bottom line is that the stuff he was drinking to stay awake killed him. The fact that he was playing internet games is just being used as a "scape goat" of sorts to add emphasis on getting people away from the internet. Wake up people! It's the shit he's drinking! It happens all over the United States. People die from stupid shit all the time so what makes this any different?
