Yesterday afternoon, the shower door and mirror guys came to install shower doors and mirrors in the bathrooms. I have to say, I was disappointed with the service. Besides for them not listening to my wife's requests and chipping a mirror, see the picture below --- it gets worse.

One of the installers come down and ask to speak to me. I say, "how is it going". He taps on his note pad and says, "its time you pay". I ask him, "are you done?" He said "no." So I said, "why should I pay?" I add, "I already gave a 50% deposit three weeks ago." He said, "Well, most of it is done." I replied, "I am not paying until it is all done."

Those things really make me upset. I wasn't mad, I was just really disappointed and embarrassed for him. It is just not right to ask for payment, when:

(1) I gave 50% already
(2) The work is not done
(3) The mirror is chipped
(4) And the manner he asked for the money

We called the owner today to show him the problem with the mirror. He said he will replace it. Who knows how long it will take.

Now, let me take you back a bit. Remember the The Invisible Shower Door where I told you this company said they already installed my shower doors? See why I am even more upset and not trusting?

This is one problem I had so far with the work that needed to be done on the house. I have been very fortunate.
