I was kind of hoping that I wouldn't have to cut my grass until next season. But it looks like the prolonged summer is making the grass grow even at the end of October.
Thing is, the length of my grass doesn't only impact me, it also impacts my neighbors. Being new to the neighborhood, I don't want people to think I am a slob. And I have a feeling, people who see homes with long, unkempt grass, might get that impression.
So for the good of the neighborhood and to not have to walk with my head down in front of my neighbors, I know what I must do.
I must cut the grass.
Oh, then comes getting rid of the leaves.

Thing is, I don't have a lawn mower. So either my wife cuts the grass with her hands or we hire someone who has a lawn mower.

Grass Man;
I have reported you to the National Organization for Women.
Expect irate pickets to populate your front lawn within hours.

You need to get some goats! I have about 10 acres of grass around my house and my herd of goats take care of it pretty well.
