Well, if you put this helmet on, you can't see through the guys head. But the guy wearing the helmet might be able to see through yours!
New jet fighter helmet 'sees' through floors from News.com reports on a new helmet being tested by F-35 Joint Strike Fighters. The "Helmet Mounted Display System will superimpose a binocular-wide field-of-view, infrared image of the world below."
The helmet was designed by Vision Systems International and Helmet Integrated Systems Limited. It is being tested by MOD’s DE&S Joint Combat Aircraft Integrated Project Team along with the RAF’s Centre for Aviation Medicine.
Scary looking helmet, isn't it?

Looks very sci-fi. It is cool, though. Fighter pilots will be able to "see" through their planes' walls and floors, giving them greater visibility in combat.
