Yesterday, I had a bunch of house chores to do. So when I got home from work in the late morning, I got to it.
First I cleaned out my car so I can easily turn it in today. Then I swept out the garage, the first time since buying the house. Then I tried to rake the leaves...
I decided to start with the driveway area. About a half an hour later, and half the driveway later, I noticed I wasn't getting too far. Looking at what remained, about 6/10ths of an acre, I decided to call it quits. It would take me days to finish the whole yard. So I finished most of the drive way and put the rake down.
I then turned off the water to the outside hoses, so it doesn't freeze.
That was about it for my chores. I may hire someone to do the leaves or I might just leave it as is. Still need to decide on that.

Barry, you need to get a blower! Gas powered is better IMO, but if you don't want to mess with gas and oil and all that get an electric one. Go for the ones with more power or bigger engine. As the small ones are pretty pathetic.
