Sergey Brin Flies to Baltimore to Get Away from House Dryness
I was chatting with Gary Price when he told me he updated his post named Early Web Search Engine Announcements. In that post is a link to an old USENET post by Sergey Brin, the founder of Google.
The post can be found here and reads:
I need to travel round-trip from SFO to BWI in about 10 days and stay for about 2 weeks. In the light of the recent air fare wars, I suspect my just taking United as usual is not the smart way to go. Anyone have any suggestions. Continental seems to have pretty low fares.ADVthanxANCE

If you review the post, you can even find some old school spam or link drops, without the link drops. A guy named Pat Michaels from AirTravel.com wanted to book the tickets for Sergey and listed all the details of the flight. It was relevant, just funny to see.
But why did he need to leave to Baltimore in ten days for a two week period? Can we related this post to a more recent post by Sergey, where he complained of the "terrible dryness" in his house?
Nah, Gary figured it was to visit his parents house for the Jewish New Year which feel out on September 5th of that year. Fun looking at old posts.
I doubt he has to worry about cheap flights anymore, since he owns his own 747.
