Honestly, I think Vista is one of the main reasons many people are moving from PCs to Apple Macs. Heck, do you think we will see Bill Gates using one soon?

I was speaking to a Microsoft rep last week at SES and this topic came up.
So I asked (because I had to), "do any Microsoft employees use a Mac?"
The response, "Yes, a number, a small number, but a number of Microsoft employees use a Mac for their daily tasks."
It just takes one to start a revolution!

And he was not kidding.
When you spend good money to buy an OS like Vista, you expect it to work and work well. I do not upgrade because I like dishing out extra money, I do so because the OS is supposed to bring benefits to my computing experience. Not daily crashes.
Seriously, this is the most unstable OS I have ever used and my vista-driven computer gives me the blue screen at least once a day.
I am appalled that this operating system even made it past a first beta release. Never mind hit the retail shelves.
Absolute junk. Period.

Bill... you should've just come right out and said it... Vista is probably the worst product Microsoft has put out since Windows ME.
I used it for about two weeks and just couldn't take it anymore. I just about punched my $300 flat panel monitor to a shattered oblivion when Vista asked me if I was sure I meant to say I was sure that I was sure I wanted to download f-ing flash player! WTF!!! I fix computers for a living and my co-workers are able to distinguish whether it's Vista or XP I'm working on by how loud and frequently the swearing comes out of my office. The place I work has actually been able to make it part of the Macintosh sales pitch... "You hear that... that's someone trying to fix a Vista machine... hey Noah come out here... this guy is thinking about buying a computer with Vista on it" I kid you not...

I'm kind of glad Vista sucks. I like my nice clean Windows XP installation that I re-do every 6 months. We Fear Change. :P

K....blue screens once a day? My vista home premium SP1 laptop is almost a year old, and i've gotten 2 blue screens. It WAS getting HELLA slow, but I got a good defrag program (the built in one sucks) and did the slowest defrag and left my pc on overnight. The next day, it was just as fast, if not faster than it was out of the box. I see no problem with vista at all, except it's crap defragger and until a few months ago, the windows explorer process would freeze (while the PC was idle) but that doesn't seem to happen anymore. I LOVE vista, and I couldn't BEAR to live with windows xp's worthless searching. I've seen compatability issues with 2 programs only-speedy eggbert(originally for windows 2000 I think) and zonealarm firewall. Seriously people, vista ISN'T THAT BAD! YOU JUST GOT SHI'TTY COMPUTERS! (things are GONNA fu'ck over when you install a shi'tpile of 3rd party programs and never defrag your hard drive...
