I have a new morning schedule, which means I may be waking up 12 minutes later. So I thought I would share with you, like you care, how that is going for me.
See the picture above, that is me, kinda, in the morning. It is not a picture of me, just some random guy on Flickr. But I am in bed, for the first part of the morning, working.
Today, for example, I got up at 5:25am, before my alarm clock went off. I then went through emails, then through RSS feeds and set up the morning writing budget for Search Engine Land. I did more emails, more feeds, some discussion forums and more work. Then I did the morning bathroom stuff and then came back to the computer to do some more work. I left the house about 6:15am and prayed and then go to work at about 7am.
I honestly like getting to work knowing that I went through email and the feeds. So when I get to work, I check email again, go through the 20 new feed items and then move into my Roundtable research.
So, technically, I am not waking up later, but I feel like I am getting more work done earlier, plus going to my local synagogue in the morning, which saves me driving time.

Barry - If you're anything like me, that's gonna be a hard habit to break. You're going to end up getting dressed at noon :)

It's amazing, I have no idea what's going on before I wake up! Now I know... You are very quiet! Thanks!

U working while your wife is sleeping is conducive to a happy marriage.
