I know they have VNC, SSH, etc, and those are all incredibly useful, but they just released Remote Desktop Lite for the iPhone. I use a PC for very limited tasks, so Remote Desktop for those purposes are great. In fact, I blogged about switching from Parallels back to Remote Desktop, due to speed.
But now I can do the same thing, just smaller, on my iPhone. Here are screen captures of the program and me using my PC on my iPhone:

Typing with the keyboard on my PC:

This phone can really do everything, it is just amazing.

Also check out WinAdmin. Same idea but not free.

From what I saw at OpenClip.org, that will only work with certain applications, NOT including the main Mail app.

Yes it can.
Can your blackberry do rdp? No? Well maybe you should take your dumb trolling elsewhere.

Blackberry actually can do rdp...

Umm... Not quite. The Blackberry can *kind* of do RDP. It doesn't do it very well- not sure, but the bottleneck appears to be Java. No better than the slow-as-molasses VNC apps, and input requires tedious menu drilling.
I feel I say this with some authority- I just wanted a day of work trying to get my new Bold setup to do SSH, VNC, and RDP. The Blackberry failed for all three compared to the many free options available on Windows Mobile.
Ended up going with an iPhone- still don't quite have a nice free RDP app, but it should be straighforward to port rdesktop. The paid options are pretty good- they're actually usable, unlike the options on the Blackberry.
