Saturday morning, I woke up, not feeling too well. Just felt very weak.
I brushed it off, went to Synagogue and came back home at about 11ish. I rested for about an hour, and then we walked about half a mile to a friend for lunch. I continued to feel weak and tired, but I hung in there throughout the four-plus hour meal. It was a very enjoyable meal, I might add, food was good, convo was good, etc. I just wasn't my lively self, and if you know me, then you can imagine how dead I acted (cause I am never too lively).
In any event, when I got home, after 5pm or so. I crashed. I woke up at about 7ish, thanks to my alarm clock wife and decided to not go back to synagogue. I decided to rest through out the night.
The next day, I was feeling better, but I wanted to make sure, so I only went to work for about 30 minutes and then stayed home the rest of the day. I rested a lot yesterday.
Today, I feel so much better. I have no idea what it was. My wife feels it is exhaustion. I get this like every other month or so. I just get sick for about 24 hours and then after sleeping it off, I feel better. I typically get sick over the weekends, with this. I rarely feel this way during the normal business week. Think that is just a coincidence or there is something more to it?

I think this is what they call "Over Optimization," instead of things getting better, it gets worst. But if you just stop for a while everything starts to get better again. :)

I recently had a similar experience that I blogged about. One day I bought two separate coffees from two separate coffee shops (one Dunkin' Donuts, one Honey Dew) on the same morning commute. They were both off of different highway exits. Then, that night - my eye began twitching and continued to for a solid three days.
It may just be me and what I pay attention to... However, in the search industry there's always something taking place. Conference here, training there, bloggable news items over there, etc. Balancing various responsibilities and client work often leaves me without rest.
