apple-mail.jpgI have been having email issues. I am getting emails fine, but my desktop client, Apple Mail, has somewhat been corrupted.

In short, it seems like my IMAP trash can is duplicating my deleted mail over and over again. I typically have about 25,000 deleted emails in a 30-day period stored in my trash can. But it has been duplicating that file over and over again. This morning, I had almost 300,000 emails in my trash folder. I tried deleting it, but those files are not on the IMAP server.

So now, I am trying to rebuild my mailboxes completely. To make things worse, the email server thinks I am hacking it, and it is blocking me out. Fun stuff.

As an email OCD freak, I cannot describe the stress this is giving me.
