The other day, I polled you guys and asked, Should I Share My Political Views?
17 comments and 60 votes later, most of you said I should share my political views. 53% said I should, while 38% said I should not and 8% said it depends how I do it. Actually, one of the "other" responses was "who cares." :)
So, if I would go with popular vote, I would be sharing my political views in a tasteful manner. But my wife commented and voted that she doesn't want me to share my two cents on politics. So she outranks all of those who said I should. I am sorry.
I'll sit this one out.

I do my best to never discuss Politics or Religion outside of my immediate family. Rarely does one gain anything other than new enemies by discussing them in public.

very smart move, I can tell you from personal experience that sharing your views does alienate a lot of people, better to keep it to yourself.

That is a very smart political move. I think you should take it one step further and consult with Mrs. Rustybrick before you put on polls like this :)))

Well, I said "other". I'm all for hearing what, who and why, but I do think you made the right call in the end. I think far too many people take an opinion as a personal attack. I don't know that that in itself says something?

I can't believe how many people share their political beliefs publicly, especially on twitter. An old boss used to ask his sales reps, "do you want to be interesting or make money?" Agree wholeheartedly with @Darrin J. Ward
