We are almost done building out a Kosher application for the iPhone. Here are some screen captures. Note, we get our data from a new site named notjustgefilte.com and they have over 2,000 records in their database. They are constantly adding more and this application should add a ton to their database. Here are the screens:
Nearest Kosher Restaurants to my current location (uses GPS):

Search for specific locations, like where I am going now:

Kosher Restaurant detail view (we will make it prettier):

Blessings for before and after you eat:

Yes, there are more blessings when you scroll down.
Also, there will be a favorites section, I just didn't show it.
We hope to release it shortly.

I hope that it includes Canada as well as the US.
Does it go down to the detail level? ie for porridge say Mezonos

Simcha,
It includes whatever notjustgefilte.com has in their database. FYI, if it is missing places, you add them, it gets added to the database. A real social like app that will greatly expand over time.
It does not tell you what bracha to say for which types of food.

Hi,
I've went through your screenshots, and I saw something very interesting. In your detail view you print out the name of the restaurant, address, tags, ratings, etc. I'm trying to create an iPhone app that has also a detail view, but then with a lot of text. My detail view should look like the one in the "App Store" application on the iPhone: scroll view with dynamic data, so I don't hava a fixed height .
I was wondering how you created your detail view. Is it scrollable, and is your height dynamic. If so, can you help me of creating such a view. It would mean a lot to me.
Kind regards,
Dimitri
