Thinking About Stopping Daily Recaps & Link Finds
This is not the first time I thought about discontinuing the Daily Recaps and Link Finds.
In any event, I am really not sure how useful they are. Can you please comment below, with or without your name, and let me know why I should or should not continue with them. If you don't care, don't comment.

You're so indecisive lately.
I say keep them -- I like knowing what sites link to SER ;) It's a nice way to reward those bloggers.

well, on a personal level I say; keep them. Even though I scan a fair share of sites and feeds I often don't get to everything that is important or important enough while you do.
Most people at Search Engine People read your recaps, as far as I know.
When is the last time you had a real vacation? Maybe you are having some end of the year, looking back, semi-depressed period?
Here's me cheering you on :-)

How's the technique worked for you? I know I've linked to one of your websites in the past just to try and get the link back (doesn't always work; I imagine you get a lot of noise).
Why don't you just move to a system whereby you often and frequently sum up what people have been chatting about when they link to you?
I've tried this sort with posts like: http://bigmouthmedia.tumblr.com/post/59127338/blog-reactions-the-pr-pr-and-journalists-by-rss

I would encourage you to keep them. However, because they do not come across as a full feed in Google Reader, I find myself skipping or missing them most of the time.
I am much more likely to read Andy Beal's Linky Goodness simply because I can see the whole thing at a glance.

I'm banned from Twitter at work, and your recaps keep me up-to-date on industry happenings. Please keep them! :)
