Okay, I am not that dumb! I did not forget my wedding anniversary, that goes into my calendar. I did forget the Search Engine Roundtable's fifth anniversary!

I first started blogging about search on December 2, 2003. It has been over five years now, and I have personally written 6,270 articles at the Search Engine Roundtable. We have over 9,000 articles in total!

Anyway, I wrote a really long piece at the Search Engine Roundtable, looking back at 2008 and how it impacted the search industry. The piece is almost 3,000 words, so if you have time, print it out and read it. It really helps to look back at the year and see what really matter, and what didn't make much of a difference.

In fact, I sat down, and then about 3,000 words and two hours later, looked up and I was done.
