About two weeks ago, I renewed my driver's license online. Last night, I got my new NYS driver's license.
It had the same picture of my previous license, which was from about ten years ago, when I was 18 or 19 years of age. I guess they think we all look the same from 18 to 28/29...
My face is different a few ways:
- Got a goatee now
- Put on several pounds (to say the least)
- No gray hairs
But I am proud to say, I still own that shirt, although the jacket ripped and I no longer have it. Oh, and the hair do and the amount of hair is still the same.
Are you brave enough to post your driver's license photo? Should I dare do a blog-meme? Nah, I'll spare you, but if you are brave enough, do please post your driver's license photo.

Barry, it looks like you were posing for a mug shot. I'd think the occasion of getting your license would be a happy thing. [;-)]
I'd post mine, but...flyin' under the radar, anonymity, etc.

You have to see Ophirs drivers license.. If he agrees to give it to you, you'll crack up. Really :-)

Winooski, common - share it!
With gaining weight, it can be losts... With losing hair, it is hard to get your hair back.

I might have to. :) I have my old one and new one, I just updated mine too, but figured I needed a new picture, so I actually went in. Okay, next time I'm near a scanner I'll post mine.

Olivier, get Ophir to blog it. :) Katie, you too!

My driver's license photo is pretty up-to-date, actually. Whenever I get it renewed they ask if I want to update my picture, and every few years I say, "Yes," and take a new picture, just to make sure that I actually look like my ID picture.
I agree with "license," though, updating your picture should be mandatory every 5-10 years, just to make sure that the picture and the person look the same.

Actually, I just looked at my license again and even though it still looks like me, I am clean shaven in the picture (I have a full beard now). It expires in 2012, so I guess I'm not getting a new picture for about 3 years.

I lived in AZ for awhile, and the driver's licenses there don't expire until you're 65! I got my license when I was 17- while I'd love to look the same almost 50 years later, I don't even look the same now. Strange system, the US DMV.

I did want a new picture, but I was too lazy to go to the DMV or a photo place. Since I had the option of renewing without a new picture, lazy me, picked that option. My choice and I agree, I shouldn't have that choice.

you may still own that shirt but the real question is does it still fit, if memory serves correct it was alittle tight even back then.
also, whatever happened to that stylish striped shirt i remember?

siborg,
I am surprised how well these shirts expand over time...
I never owned a striped shirt, but you did, well, until you got married.
