I would be surprised if you never felt this way about a package. Today, I am expecting to receive the Sony HDR-XR200V but I checked the UPS status and it is made out to be delivered to the wrong suite #. I am upset, because I made it clear to the sales person, make sure the label says "RustyBrick and Suite 305. So the label only says my name on it and it says Suite 30. There is no Suite 30 in the building.
So I decided to go to extremes after the RustyBrickers said I am not crazy for wanting to post a sign in the elevator. Maybe they said that cause I am their boss and they don't feel comfortable calling me crazy. But my office building only has to elevators and I know the UPS guy will use it. I also know that people post notices in the elevator about missing stuff or job postings, so why not?
The picture above is a copy of the sign I posted in both elevators.
Clearly, I am hoping the logo catches the guy's attention and he reads on.
Admit it, you also get excited when you are expecting a cool gadget via UPS and you would go to extremes like me to make sure you get it as soon as possible. Admit it! :)
Note: I called UPS and they said they cannot notify the driver or make a change to the address. The driver does know my name, but who knows if he is sick today and their is a substitute?

If this is how you feel when UPS bringing a cool toy, imagine how you'll feel when your wife's bringing your baby. [:-)]
But, seriously, I'm exactly the same way.

Long addresses frequently get truncated...I know because I live at one :.)
