I wear sneakers pretty much every day, always had. For as long as I remember wearing sneakers, I have been wearing Nikes. I think because Michael Jordan was my favorite basketball player and he had deals with Nike for the Air Jordan - so I always want Nikes, even to this day.
On my Israel trip, I think my current Nike's broke in probably one of the worst spots. The inner back heal. Here is a picture:
Now, this wouldn't be that bad, but in this case, a hard piece of plastic is coming out from that rip and rubbing against my back heel whenever I walk.
I finally got around to buying new ones via Live Search's Cashback thing on FootLocker.com but I figured I would blog it and see if I can get a refund or a free pair of sneakers from Nike. I will follow up this post with an email to Nike with a link to this post. Who knows, I have received free things from blogging in the past - especially for defective items.

u may have exceeded the weight limit. read the manual, if so the warranty is void.
