I rarely watch movies. That includes watching movies at home and especially at the theatre. I assume it will be an even longer time until I see a movie again in a theatre (got a kid now). But I do watch most the movies I end up seeing, on flights to conferences.

I often pick the movie via iTunes and download it to my iPhone for the flight. Sometimes I will rent a few movies, depending on the length of the flight.

The criteria I use to find out which movie I want to rent is based on how much violence is in the movie. I just really enjoy watching war movies, movies with guns, people getting killed, lots of anger and lots of action. Otherwise, the movies don't often keep me focused. Movies way out there, with lots and lots of constant action, let me drift away for a bit - something I rarely do.

One of my favorite bloody movies is 300. I saw a piece of it on TNT last night. Of course, my wife hates these types of movies - so you know.
